current river trip (United States)

third week of april trip to the current river........ hooking-up with some folks off of paddling.net..." ozark rendevous" i'm going weds. night and will be staying till sunday i'll be in my van.....

so if you get the canoe flu come on and go!! P.S. don't forget your fishin' gear!!

I diffinately have the canoe flu. Need to get out. Must get out... :D

Good news. I move on April 25 if all goes right. Been busy taking care of paper work and trying to get everything done. You will have to come by for the house warming party when we have it. Would be nice to see ya.

well the current trips was a blast!! good water and good weather ! but man it's a long way over there. we paddled 10 to 17 miles each day. according to GPS. WE SAILED DOWN STREAM AT CLOSE TO 4.2 MILES PER HOUR... the group was about 20 boater strong(all great people) didn't have time to fish ,but trout could be seen all day.... the lower part, near jacks fork was over-run with jet boaters . mark it off you trips to take!!!! or to avoid ! we will be making this trip again in the fall might go for a whole week then.
